01.

Pool Fence Permit

For all swimming pools and spas capable of containing water to a depth greater than 300 mm (30 cm), a compliant safety barrier or pool fence is required. Our team works closely with building surveyors and councils, ensuring all safety standards are met. We specialise in pool fence permits (certificate of barrier compliance), inspections, repairs, new installations and designing pool fence barriers.

02.

Timber Decking Permit

In Victoria, obtaining a building permit and a structural design is sometimes necessary when constructing a timber deck. These two requirements play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and quality of the project. Our services encompass designing and managing both the building permit and planning permit processes, ensuring complete compliance with all council regulations.

03.

Pergola and Carport Permits

Any plans to construct a pergola exceeding 20m2 in floor area will require a building permit. When building a carport that is over 2.4m in height, larger than 10m2 in area, within 1m of a boundary, or attached to another building or structure, you will require a building permit. Our team can help you design and obtain the required permits, ensuring a smooth and compliant process for your project.

04.

Fence Permit

Fence permits vary based on height, location, and restrictions. A side fence over 2m or a front fence generally exceeding 1.5m (made of lightweight metal) requires building consent, report and consent. Front masonry fences over 1.2m high also need a building permit. Our team works closely with councils to handle all permits, ensuring the best outcome for your project

05.

Retaining Wall Permit

Any retaining wall that is 1m or taller will require a building permit. A retaining wall situated near site boundaries, which could pose a risk to adjoining properties, a building permit is required. Our team is here to support you throughout the permit application process.

06.

Building Over Easement Application

When planning to construct over an easement, it is essential to obtain consent from any service authorities (for example, Yarra Valley Water) who hold the rights to the easement. Our team works closely with councils and service providers, managing all permit applications.
